It was a pleasure to work with former Navy Seal and Wealth Managment Advisor, Patrick Berry. Patrick wanted to host former Navy Seal, Chris Kyle and his wife Taya at a special reception honoring the launch of Chris’ new bestselling book “American Sniper”. The evening began with a reception on the veranda and South garden at La Jolla Woman’s Club with invited guests mingling with Chris, Taya and co-author, Scott McEwen. Guests then moved inside to hear comments from host; Patrick Berry. Co-author Scott McEwen, Chris Kyle and Taya were all seated onstage and spoke about how the idea for the book was conceived, and what was involved in receiving approval from all branches of the government before publication was authorized. Chris, who is known as “The Legend” then spoke about his experiences as a sniper during his four tours of duty in Iraq. The evening concluded with Chris and Taya signing books and posing for photos with the guests.
